Re: Anyone familiar with Mill Neck, LI?

I would go into Bayville, Locust Valley or Oyster Bay. There really is not much in Mill Neck. In fact, I cannot think of any places to eat in Mill Neck that are open to the public. There is a private club (Beaver Damn) on the pond that has a place to eat but you either need to be invited or a member and it is $$$$. It is also not open for parts of the year....I am not a member....

In Locust Valley (Cleft Road to Frost Mill Rd.):
The Basil Leaf Cafe - expensive but really good
Buckram Stables - great burgers, can take a while

In Bayville (W Shore Road to the left):
C-Side Deli is quick and good food, love love love the motz and chicken sandwich
Oak Neck Deli might be closer for you but I prefer C-Side
Ralph's Pizza - I grew up eating this pizza. There are a bunch of places to eat on the board walk. Souvlaki is good too.

In Oyster Bay (W Shore Road to the Right):
Canterbury Ales
Tabby's - I love the greek salad and burgers here.

Are you going to work for Mill Neck Manor? Do they have a cafeteria?
