Anybody fly recently with just carry-on luggage?

DH and I are going to Barbados for a long weekend so we're going to just bring bags to put in the overhead compartment. Does anyone know if I'll be able to get away with bringing a disposable razor? And as far as sunscreen/oil, can I bring the regular container or am I going to have to put it in small containers?

The disposable razors should be fine, I've never had a problem.

The sunscreen will have to be put into the 3oz containers though.

I did disposable razors in my carry on and had no problem, but they removed the razors from DH's carry on. Sooo, it's worth a shot.

I think either one would be good.

I wouldn't count on getting away with the razor on the plane.

Disposable razors (safety razors) are allowed in carry on luggage according to the TSA website. You should be fine.

I just flew last weekend from JFK and carried on my luggage.

They didn't take my razor, but they did confisgate my shaving cream.

I bought the containers for sunblock and I will bring a razor. If they take any of it, I will just have to buy it there.

Here's a list of prohibited items. It clearly states disposable razors and refills are permitted. It does not say tweezers are not permitted. There's no reason for them to be confiscated.

Maybe bring a print out from the TSA of what is allowed to help out any agents that are not aware of the rules.
