Do Not Call List
we made the horrible choice and got a house phone finally after being in the house for almost 10 months and now the phone does not stop ringing! debt collectors for other people and random charities! its so annoying.
how do we get on a do not call list?

We had this issue with debt collectors calling for the person who had the number before. I made sure to tell the caller to specifically remove our number from the list as we were not who they were looking for. We had to do this with the various agencies but it worked and we don't get the calls anymore.
As for the official do not call list, you can search online and find the link, this was how i did it long ago.

Wow, how annoying. I believe it is www.donotcall.gov. We get debt collectors calling our office phone but since it's a business there isn't anything we can do about it.
