Is there a website? (school related)
That allows me to type in an address and have it give me the schools the house is zoned to? We Put an offer in on a house but I can't find which elementary school my kids would attend

They can't do that, since the house may change which elementary school it is "assigned" to each year. It depends on the distribution of that year's kids.

Re: Is there a website? (school related)
Unfortunately, no. The school districts are often pretty guarded with this information. As the previous poster said, the elementary school lines are always subject to change (in some districts more than others). For example, I know in the N. Merrick school district, the district reserves the right to put your child in any of the elementary schools, to balance out enrollment if necessary.
The best way to find this out is to call the district. I've had the best luck calling the number for transportation for the district. I often do this when I take a new listing and want to find out or confirm the elementary school. They are usually very helpful!

I have to admit, I totally didn't even realize it was you when I responded! I didn't even look at the username of the original poster.
We can definitely find that info out. Will let you know as soon as I hear anything.

Call the school district office and give them the address. They'd tell you where the kids would go.

I believe when you click "school info" on MLSLI, ALL of the schools (elementary through high school) will come up for the entire school district our house is in. But if there's more than one elementary school in your school district, it won't tell you which one you are zoned for. I don't know of any way to get that info other than to call the district (or ask someone else on the block, but even still, I know areas in which the school lines divide streets -- even side streets).

Also, we asked the homeowner and they told us right away. Or ask your real estate agent to find out for you.
