Changing Doctors
I have you been going back and forth with this for a while now (even before PG) and I think I may change doctors. I live in Medford now and if I stayed with my doctor I would travel to West Islip. My best friend has her doctors all out of Stony Brook and Dh loves it there. I'm so confused..is 10 weeks too late to change?

It's never too late to change. I know several people who changed way later in their pregnancies. You have to be with a doctor(s) where you are comfortable! Especially during pregnancy! I would switch- it sounds like you'll be much happier

10 weeks is def not too late. My practice won't even see you until you are 8 weeks. I switched when I found out I was PG with number 2. The practice is a half hour away and the hospital is 45 mins-1 hr away (Stony Brook) but I really like the practice, I've heard great things, I really want a VBAC and I like Stony Brook hospital.

I switched at 12 weeks and it was the best decision!!! I see University Associates in East Setauket and highly recommend them! If you want to switch, you definitely should...The sooner the better really!

I changed at 24 weeks. Many doctors won't take you if you are that far along, but my new doctor did, and I am very happy I made the change. I feel that I am in much more capable hands. If you are thinking about switching, do it!
