Butternut Squash
Does any one have any good recipes?
I was thinking of mixing it with a regular squash and yellow squase, cutting them all in cubes with oil, onions, garlic, salt and italian seasoning...but does anyone have any other ideas?

Re: Butternut Squash
Mashed with a little salt/pepper/butter
I love this bisque ½ gallon light cream 2 pounds butternut squash ½ tablespoon cinnamon 2½ tablespoons brown sugar ½ tablespoon molasses ½ cup orange juice White pepper Salt Bake or steam butternut squash; cool. Puree squash in a food processor or use an immersion blender.
Heat the cream and orange juice together. Combine the squash and liquids and bring to a light boil. Add cinnamon, brown sugar, molasses, salt and white pepper, to taste.
Serve immediately.

Re: Butternut Squash
Cut the butternut squash lengthwise, brush with olive oil and roast in the oven. When tender, cube the squash and toss with fresh orange zest and fresh sage. It is out of this world delish and so simple
