Stupid comments...
A lady in my building said to the women in my office today, as I was devouring a bag of microwave popcorn, "I can't BELIEVE she's eating popcorn when she's pregnant...Thats crazy!"
What does that even mean?? And She should mind her business...

Some people are just so rude and/or dumb. A coworker of mine is pregnant and was drinking a virgin pina colada. A girl ran up to her hysterical reminding her that she shouldn't be drinking alcohol. REALLY????

It would be a different story if she commented on HOW I was eating it, because I was housing the entire bag...lol but the fact that I was eating popcorn at all is not a problem as far as I know!

After seeing your post I googled popcorn and pregnancy and found other blogs/message boards/people's opinions (no real articles or anything) and apparently some people think the chemicals in the microwave popcorn bag (like fake butter) are bad and others think anything cooked in a microwave is bad. I've never heard it before and if it was a real concern I think all those lists on pregnancy sites of foods to avoid would have it listed.
