Here is our runner on our front/short flight. We also have it on the full flight. It is a Karastan from G.Fried Carpet. It also comes in a gold on gold tone & some other colors if you do not like the red and there are lots of other runners from Karastan.
Dog is optional.

Where did you get your Karastan runner and how much did it run? They dont sell directly from their site?

G.Fried carries the whole line & so do some other places. I can't remember how much we paid but I must have a receipt somewhere.
I'm trying to decide now whether to get an inexpensive rug from Marshalls or Home Depot until I know what furniture I want for my living room or whether to get the rug that matches my runner. It's an open floor plan anyway.
I currently have a silk oriental rug that came from an estate sale but has worn terribly. Now I want something that is new even if it is not supposedly collectable. The silk rug looks so terrible but I was in love with it when we got it.
My dad saw some Karastans at Tuesday Morning but they weren't runners. I may go look but I expect them to be sold out.

also, do a search on LIF. When I was buying mine I know I found a thread with some photos that I liked.
