Greenfreak! Succulent wreaths!

I just ordered a succulent wreath for my LR (to get more green in there)...

I ordered from this shop on etsy.

That is SO awesome! Two of my favorite things - succulents and Etsy. Chat Icon

The purple one is gorgeous, I love it. I'm interested to know what the backing looks like. I guess you just soak it in the sink once in a while and then rehang it. Will you post pics once it's hanging? I'd love to see it. Chat Icon

Re: Greenfreak! Succulent wreaths!

So funny. I asked the seller the same thing. This was her response:

You lay the wreath over the sink & pour water over it until it's damp but not leaking water. Then you rehang it, until it dry again. Succulents don't like to be watered too often, so you would only water about once every week or every other week (depending on the humidity level). . They also require some sunlight, however morning or filtered sunlight is best. Succulent grow on the coast where the sun isn't too strong. In places where the sun gets really hot, it's best to offer only morning sun or filtered sun so that the succuents don't burn. The most part succulents are some of the easiest to care for plants and will continue to grow & bloom over the years.

I ordered it today - I'll post pics once I get it!

Love it. What a neat idea. I planted them all along my pool. They did so well last year until we had a collapse and had a lot of construction. Im going to purchase a couple for sure.
