Who is this "Dr.B" many of you speak of?
I am considering the switch because I know most of you said he does the immune testing. I have already had genetic testing done at my RE's but lately, his office and himself have not made me feel so welcomed. 
So, who is this Dr. B? Where is his office? I am a teacher so office/monitoring hours are important for me. When does he do monitoring? Can I get bloodwork/sono and he calls with the results? I am curious to see it will work with my awesome commute to Queens!
Any info I would appreciate it! Plus I love the fact he emails you all! It is a great plus!

Dr. Jeffrey Braverman in Woodbury (he's also in Manhattan 2 afternoons a week I believe, though I've never seen him there).

ETA: I've never had a sonogram from anyone from him. He usually does his own unless he isn't in the office for some reason.

I think their hrs are limited. Something like 8-4 or 4:30. And he is only there half days some days. I've had 1 sono done and 1 iui done by the nurse and they are totally great and very informative. (it was when he was in vaca and on a day he was in NYC). Oh and he now only takes out of network insurance.

Bear in mind that doctor Braverman (as I heard it) dropped all insurance coverage, so you will have to file out of network to see him. I don't know who your carrier is, but you should look into what that means for you financially. I know I have teacher insurance with a lifetime max. Because in-network practices have lower negotiated rates, I get more IVF chances with my coverage whereas you stand to burn through it pretty quickly at his OOP rate if it doesn't work out right away or if you need enough coverage to have a second child (like me).
But many girls on here see him and rave about his personalized attention to patients.

I *love* Dr. B. But, his hours stink. He doesn't have early monitoring, nor late hours. For teachers, he's not ideal in that way.
That said, he's definitely worth having a consult with.
As for as the insurance, as long as you have out of network coverage, it's not that big of a deal.

I work in Queens and usually make the 345 appts. But they are usually his last. They are usually backed up as well, so if you are 5-10 min late its usually not a prob.
He no longer takes ins. so that would be something to look into.
I really do think he is great at what he does...he got me to my first BFP

Thank you all so much! I don't know if it would work because I don't get out for work until 3:30 and start at 8:30. I will try one more cycle with my RE who called me today and APOLOGIZED and made me feel less sad for 2 min.
Do any of you know if he does the immune testing and would give me the results without being my RE?
