usually a vaginal birth is 6 weeks and a c-section is 8 weeks. FMLA protects you for 12 weeks so long as you (and your office) meet the giudlines.

FMLA is unpaid.....as far as if you get paid by your company...that widely varies so I'd check. We get 6 or 8 paid.

I get 18 weeks natural birth, 22 c section. I have a very physical job.
