Give me your Beaches Turks & Caicos Reviews Please
So we are almost 100% set on going to Beaches T&C next spring. Please give me your reviews -- we are thinking about staying in the french village and getting a walk-out room (I'm assuming it has a private patio or something since it is on the first floor and they call it the "walk out" room??). I heard the french village is quieter than the italian village and we will have our child with us so I want to make sure he is able to get some sleep. Any reviews of the french village? pics? I would love to hear your thoughts on restaurants too. We would have a 1 and 1/2 year old with us on the trip so I need places that would cater to him as well. Any other "must dos" would be great too! Many thanks! I just want to make sure that this is the place to go before we book Also, what is the scene like? Is it a total mad house with kids running and screaming everywhere or is there a chance to get in some relaxation? TIA!

Re: Give me your Beaches Turks & Caicos Reviews Please
I have no advice because I haven't been. My friend went 3x's already & stayed in the Italian village & loved it! They started doing it as a tradition during the Feb break with her parents, brothers, SIL's, nieces, nephews. She said it runs them about 10 grand for the week Thats each family ex: her,dh & 3 kiddies. But that its soooo worth it because theres something for every age group. Thats Jet Blues new destination & the fares are really good.

Re: Give me your Beaches Turks & Caicos Reviews Please
We see that quite a bit. Families that go there year after year and when they come, they come 10-15 people strong!!
Combine that, with the fact that Beaches Turks & Caicos wins awards every year for being one of the best family vacation spots...
If you go, be sure to stop by Criketers and say hi to Andrew & Tedane. These two are twin brothers originally from Negril Jamaica and they are a total blast!! I am proud to call Andrew & Tedane my friends and they are some of what makes Beaches Turks & Caicos such a warm, welcoming place that never really ever gets out of your system.
Put it this way, my wife wanted to cry the first time we left the island..
So - if you have one of those lives, like many of us do where so many things are put on us, and we have so many responsibilities, things to do, and places to be...and its all important, it's nice to know theres a place where you can go to let your mind be still, and at ease for a while.
For me, its a resort that sits on a great stretch of beach on Grace Bay...

I just called to ask them some of my questions and I asked about having milk in the room refrig and was told that they may not have whole milk at the resort *(or I may need to buy it at the convenience store)-- anyone know if this is true or not?? DS will be drinking whole milk at the time...

I could send the Executive Chef, Colin Watson and his assistant Heather Gordon an email & ask that question if you would like.
Chef Watson and his team are awesome and they are very accommodating to special dietary concerns.

Re: Give me your Beaches Turks & Caicos Reviews Please
Actually, I just got this response a bit ago from the Camp Sesame Supervisor. Mrs. Julian reports:
"We have a lot of whole milk. We can also ask the kitchen for rice milk, soy milk, 2 % milk etc. but if they have special milk, fruits, food or baby cereals for him they should bring it."

Thank you! Do you know if it is parmalat milk? A poster to my "questions" post posted that they only had parmalat

Re: Give me your Beaches Turks & Caicos Reviews Please
When we were at Sandals for our honeymoon, we ended up befriending a lot of guests who were 10+ years older than us and had kids and were on anniversarfy trips and many had been to Beaches T&C and could not stop raving about it

If you did have to buy milk while there, it is not a big deal at all. There are several supermarkets conveniently located nearby (I'm sure Beaches provides a daily shuttle there) and you can just pick some up there. That's what we did. There is also that Horizon shelf safe milk you can buy if you wanted. FYI - I didn't stay at Beaches but I was recently in T&C and I know milk for DD was one of my bigger concerns

we have been twice and it is amazing!! I personally dont like the french village because I felt like it is a bit far from the beach. I preferred the parrot cay suites or italian village. 2 adults, 3 kids in april we paid around 7,500

I agree. I really prefer the locations of the other villages. French is very nice but you cannot beat the location of the Italian resort or the location of some parts the Caribbean resort. We are a family of 3 and I have seen that Beaches can be more cost effective with a bigger group even though it is still pricey either way. I wish that were not the case but I am very determined to go back!!
As for my review of the entire place, my friend booked after she was browsing on tripadvisor & found my glowing review. . She loved it, too.

We're going in December and staying in a Davinci suite in the Italian Village. I'll definitely post a review when I get back.
