Male Bloodwork for IVF?
Has anyone's husband had to have bloodwork done before starting IVF? If so what are they testing for? Anyone have an idea of what the cost associated with this would be? TIA!

Dh did. I dont remember all the tests but there were like 10 or so. Mostly screening for disease and carrier info.

Re: Male Bloodwork for IVF?
Thanks all. I should have been a little more specific, the nurse mentioned STD testing. We are not having genetic testing done, because as of right now there are no indicators of any genetic issues.
DH is freaking out because, according to him he has a phobia of needles. I gladly mentioned that after everything I have to go through, this was the last time he is to complain.

I am glad I am not the only one that thinks that was ridiculous. He can be such a PIA sometimes. I think he felt my annoyance through my last email beause he keeps on emailing me how much he loves me, how much he cares, blah, blah blah. What an a$$ kisser.
