It is typically done for people of Eastern European decent. Also a DH could have it done if he is Jewish. It is 13 vials of blood.

DH had to have this done 70000 years ago when we first started TTC i thought it was only for jewish people or people of jewish descent.

My DH is Jewish (Im not).. they had him have the screening but not me.

Thanks ladies. Maybe they just send everyone since they don't know your religion? I'm just trying not to pay oop for extra bloodwork if it's not needed.
