Preparing for IUI: suggestions

If all goes well, I'll be having my first natural cycle IUI next week! I have soooo many questions- what can I expect?

Do any of you have any advice for preparing for this? What to avoid, what to do, what to eat etc?

Also, can we BD in the meantime if we want to?

There's not much prep you can do for IUI. They usually want DH to abstain for at least 48 but no more than 72 hours... Every clinic is different though.
Just have a positive open mind! Eat healthy (which is always a good idea when ttc)

dont have sex for a couple days before. after the second iui they tell you went to there really isnt anything you can do at all except stay away from aspirin based products like advil etc bc they say sometimes it can interfere with conception but i would ask your doc! good luck!

like others have said there is really no prep..we are always told no sex 24 hrs before

it is over in 2 min..then u just lay for 15 and rest of the day u could be crampy or even spot

There is not much to do to prepare or things to avoid. I know DH has to not release his goods for like 48 or 72 hrs prior...but that was about it...good luck
