Menu thread 8-29
Easy week for me:
Tonight: Homemade chicken soup with tubettini, carrots and lots of grated locatelli cheese
Mon.- Kielbasa with saurkraut and onions with pierogies
Tues.- Take out
Wed.- Grilled chicken, fresh mozzerella, roasted red peppers pannini with balsamic glaze
Thurs.- Wedding
Fri.- Pizza

Sun - balsamic-glazed meatloaf, marinated tomato salad (from Pioneer woman's premiere episode!) and sauteed sugar snap peas
Mon - Pollo asado, yellow rice, pinto peans & pico de gallo
Tues - Shell pasta with mini turkey meatballs
Wed - Pollo in salsa rosa with roasted vegetable orzo
Thurs - Rigatoni with creamy mushroom sauce, parmesan toasty baguette
Fri - Pepperoni pizza with caesar salad
This weeks' treat: double fudge oreo crunch cookies

Saturday: Chipotle rubbed pork tenderloin with baked potatoes
Sunday: Salad with grilled chicken, homemade honey mustard, garden seasoning, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
Monday: DH & I are going to dinner and a movie
Tuesday: Dinner at IL's
Wednesday: Gnocchi in ricotta sauce
Thursday: I'm not sure yet. I'm either going to make something with chicken sausage or we will be out.
Friday: Dinner with a friend

Sunday: Arroz Con Pollo, cucumber salad
Monday: Pasta with peas, salad
Tuesday: Stir fry beef with broccoli & snow peas, fried rice
Wednesday: Chicken Soup, biscuits, salad
Thursday: Grilled Artichoke, Mozz and Spinach pizza and Tomato, Fresh Mozz, Basil and Onion Pizza
Friday: Salmon with lemon dill, Cous Cous, Spinach
Saturday: Marinated london broil, veg, quinoa pilaf

Sat: we ordered Chinese to ride out the Hurricane
Sun: my birthday, DH took me out to Houston's (couldn't believe they were open!)
Mon: ?
Tues: My Birthday Dinner with the Family. My mom does this for everyone and makes whatever the person wants. I still haven't decided what to ask for....any suggestions??
Wed: Meat/Cheese Board. Sweet Sopressata, Artisan Salami, Pepperoni, Havarti with Dill, Cheddar, and Laughing Cow Lite. Hummus, Kalamata Olives, Sliced Cucumbers served with Wheat thins, Pita Chips and Town House Crackers.
Thurs: Baked Ziti, meatballs, and salad
Fri: Pizza for the boys, leftovers
I really need to get my act together. I'll edit when I figure this out

you my friend are BRILLIANT!!! That's a lot of work though. Hmmm, maybe she can just marinate ribs or chops and avoid all the cubing and shishing. I swear if we are having that....you must come over!!! I was just thinking of asking for Pineapple chicken and pilaf. I'll let you know

I haven't posted in like 2 months! But I have been cooking. I just have been winging it every night and boy does that get expensive! I am back to planning my menu!
Saturday - We evacuated to my brothers. My SIL made Baked Zita, Garlic Bread and Salad.
Sunday - Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Steamed Broccoli w/garlic & oil
Monday - Chicken Tortellini Soup, warm baguette
Tuesday - Corned Beef, Cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. Rye bread
Wednesday - Chicken Piccata, Rice, Roasted Carrots & salad
Thursday - Marinated Skirt Steak, Baked potatoes, Sauteed string beans
Friday - Pizza

No power in my house until Friday 
Sunday: Pan Fried Tandoori Chicken, Peas, and Rice
Monday: Cheese Tortellini in Tomato Bisque
Tuesday: Beef Barley Soup (from a can)
Wednesday: Ramen Noodles
Thursday: Chicken Noodle Soup (from a can)
Friday: Not sure yet- secretly hoping the power comes on before dinner time. If not, more ramen noodles.
