BTDT Moms - Stollers

I have the Chico stroller with the car seat from DD & I have a Bugaboo that we use primarily now. DD will be 2.5 (ish) when #2 arrives. Do you ladies recommend getting a double stroller like the City Mini or should I use the Chico for #2 & bugaboo for #1 until #2 is a little bigger & just get something like the Maclaren double umbrella? I was concerned about being out alone with 2 kids in the beginning, but DH doesn't think that will happen enough to buy another $500 stroller (oh what I went through with him over the Bugaboo!!!)

Sorry if this seems rambling, I'm just trying to forecast big expenses since we won't have the benefit of a shower this time around. TIA

I heard that Bugaboo is coming out with a double stroller ($1500), why not wait for that!?
talk about trying to save!!

In all seriousness, I'm not BTDT, but I would want a double stroller. I need organization and control, and I think it would be too crazy for me with a single and 2 kids. I'm registering for a stroller with a 2nd seat option for this reason (Baby Jogger City Select)

I looked at the Bugaboo double in BBB yesterday, aside from the price tag, the seats seem much more narrow than what I have now. Not too mention there is no way I could get DH to agree to spend that! I really think I want the City Mini, just so I never have to second guess if I want to take them out together in the beginning. I don't know if I can trust DD to stay in the sit and stand.
