Inspection during rain on Saturday or Monday after hurricane?

So I was thinking it would be a good idea to get the inspection done Monday morning if possible b/c we could see if there was leaking in the basement etc? the inspector said to stick with Saturday b/c it will be during rain instead of after?

What do you think? What if something goes wrong after the storm and I dont notice it in the walk through later? KWIM?

I think it is always good to have an inspection after a heavy rain!

After! We did our inspection just after the huge rainstorm 2 weeks ago. We had actually seen the house the day of the rainstorm which was great too because we didn't see any leaking in the basement and we were there during a really bad part of the storm!

ugh I called and changed the time like 3x already! LOL I think you guys are right. I dont know easy it will be to get around Monday, but Ill see if they can change it. then i can leave LI tomorrow and not wait until Sat afternoon too.
