Seagrass Rugs?
Anyone have one? Feedback?
I just bought one for the family room, but I think its too tough a material. Do they soften over time? I have a toddler and I feel like his face could get scratched if he lays down on it.
I'm thinking return it for a jute rug instead.

Re: Seagrass Rugs?
We actually had a jute rug and although I loved the look I HATED everything else about it. It was so hard to vacuum, started to look crappy pretty quick, there was always dust underneath it, it pretty much stained our laminate floors and it was too rough for DD. We changed it out for a nice soft area rug from target and couldn't believe we wanted that long to get rid of it!

Re: Seagrass Rugs?
I bought one from Pottery Barn for my entry way and hated it. Definitely rough which for an entryway is okay (it didn't soften over time), but as Camacho says it is also hard to vacuum.
