Reinforcing of our fence
we had a new wood stockade fence put up a few months ago. With the impending storm do you think we need to reinforce it?
Our fence guy says no but I know DH is going to disagree.
We've had a fence or two go down but that was very old fence.

I wouldnt touch it.
One if nothing happens during the storm and then you havve issues after for some other reason you could void the warranty.
A fence should be able to withstand a cat 1 and probably a cat 2. In all the hurricanes I have been through we have never lost more than a few lawn items blowing and a tree.
