What is the dumbest thing you have done?

okay, I will probably take the cake with this.
So I was cleaning and I put the blender on top of my small little oven I have.
Silly me I forgot to take it off and I toasted some waffles when I realize it was still there. the bottom part melted, omg thank god it still works. I was like duh, what was I thinking.

Sat behind a car in the overcroweded Yankee stadium parking lot, waiting for the guy to MOVE.....and then I realized it was a car parked in the aisle, with no driver in it.

OK this was so weird since I am addicted to silly things like this on the internet.

One day dh and I were looking at something on some game and it had like buttons on the screen and it said to press them. For some reason, I forgot I was on the computer and instead of clicking with my mouse..I started pushing my computer screen. I tried to use my fingers to press these things on the computer screen!!!!!!!!!!!

My dh couldnt even talk he was laughing so hard and I just sat there stooped as to why I was sooooo retarted! LMAO

I lost my car in a parking lot and walked past it literally no joke like 20 times, because I came in a different entrance then normal and thought I parked the car in a different direction...Also forgot I had an ALARM and could have hit unlock to see the headlights flashing..

I found it TWO HOURS LATER, after calling DH crying I lost the car....Now keep in mind I was leaving a BAR and everyone thought I was drunk ( I was NOT, I had ONE beer!)

1.) locked an empty locker next to mine at the gym, then when I came back I thought my stuff was stolen


2.) was checking my voicemail at work and I forgot it was a message and had a conversation with the machine. I thought she just wouldnt shut up. I kept saying aha, aha, OK, OK, and she just kept talking

Not sure which one is dumber

it wasn't me....but my sister was out of town for a friends' wedding, they went to a club she got drunk,

went to use the restroom and walked into a mirror, then aplogized to the "person" in the mirror which was actually herself!!

My dh and I locked ourselves INSIDE our condo!!...we broke the dead bolt from the inside and there was no other way out.. We had to bang on our door from the inside until our neighbor heard us..when she finally heard us..we than had to toss our key over to her from our balcony, so she could open the door from the outside..it was a nightmare!!!

Mind you...our power went out during all ofthis ..

Locked my keys inside my car WHILE IT WAS STILL RUNNING. And it just so happened that it was RAINING!

I locked the keys along w/ my daughter in the car while DH was in Blockbuster. It was winter and it was cold!!

I accidentally locked myself inside a hotel room in Spain and couldn't get the words right to tell the front desk what I did.

Eventually the manager had to come up and go to the room next door, climb out their balcony onto mine, climb in my room window and unlock it for me. I couldn't figure out the lock and the guy got it in like 3 seconds.

I tucked my skirt into my thong...Walked out of the bathroom at the restaurant and mooned a family of four, a waiter and a waitress.

I drove away while my x was pumping gas in my car.. Yes that is right .. there I was driving while the gas nozzle and hose hanging out of my car (Thank goodness those things detach and turn off the gas when things like this happen)

this was a blonde move on my part. I was dumping the water from my dehumidifier and unplugged it before I dumped it. Well I went to replug it with some water on my hands and yes.. ZAP I got a shock!!! What an azz!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was with my mother at a Kmart years ago. I was bored so she asked me to order pizza hut, so that it is ready by the time we are leaving. (same parking lot)

So I said okay and walked across the parking lot to pizza hut. The phone number to pizza hut was written on the glass. So I did not have a pen with me, so I repeated the number over and over again in my head while walking back to Kmart. I found a payphone to use, but did not have change. So still saying the number out loud, I hunted down my mother and asked for a quarter.

She asked where I had been, I told her, and she was like ummm Jan, why would you do that?

I said what?

She said why would you walk all the way over there, memorize number, walk back, look for change instead of just walking in and telling them your order

I just remembered another time...

We were staying at a rinky dink motel with my family. I went in the bathroom and for some reason the lock was broke and when you totally shut it, you got locked in. Now I am EXTREMELY clastrophobic and I started freaking out. My stepdad got me out and I was bawling. So after swimming, I wanted to first shower and my stepdad reminded me not to totally shut the door or I would get locked in and everyone else was in the pool. Well I went in the bathroom telling myself the entire time not to shut the door entirely...and I guess I got soo nervous that I did it anyway. I started screaming and banging on the door but everyone was at the pool so of course no one heard me. I had to crawl one of those tiny bathroom windows...I landed in a pile of mud in only my bathing suit and had to walk around the entire motel all muddy just to get to the pool to get the extra key. On top of that, I broke the window while trying to get out. The ENTIRE pool was laughing at me and I couldnt help but cry. I was soooooo embarrassed. This wasnt when I was 10 either...I was about 25! I am not the sharpest tool in the shed!
