Life has a way of "shaking things up"

So my DH and I went to go see the RE today for our appt. at 1:45. Sheesh the office was empty! AF arrived on Sunday, so I did an internal sono + bloodwork. DH was in the exam room with me.... calm, full of questions, and reluctantly supportive (but still supportive- I'll take it).

Those of you who have been to LIJ know- it's downstairs in the basement....

There I am in a gown, naked from the waist down waiting for Dr. H when the place starts rocking and rolling! DH and I look at each other and said, OMGGGGG that was an earthquake!!!! No one could believe it! Sure enough the nurse comes in to tell us to be calm, all is okay. DH said, "Oh don't worry- we're not leaving here anytime soon. This is too important".

Finally- he got it! it was the sign I needed from him that he's in this now 100% of the way! When the Dr. came in and did his thing, we asked our questions, and Dr. H was open and honest about our chances for everything. He recommended natural cycle IUI over medicated timed BD, and it was like DH had been there all along, nodding his head, signing the paperwork, and making his appointment. I'll have my first IUI around 9/4 9/5 if all goes well :)

See, sometimes it takes a little *jolt* to get the DH's to cooperate!

Get this: we realized that we were engaged 10 years ago today!
