what curtain color for this wall color?
this is my bedroom wall color
i don't want to repaint, but I'm ready for new curtains...right now they are dark brown and I think blue is the in color to go with brown
any ideas?

My mom has similarly colored walls in her living room and has sheer light blue curtains. It looks very nice! And her couches are blue and white checked- very country chic.

I have mostly dark wood furniture - clean lines.
I have chocolate curtains up now and a chocolate quilt - i feel like everything is so brown.
I like the idea of cream, but would it be too boring? Maybe cream curtains with a colored quilt?

I have a similar color in our bedroom. Maybe a little lighter. And I just put up silvery/greyish curtains. But that color is also in my bedding.

I would do a curtain that is in the same ton as the bed cover. What is your quilt cover color?

Right now we have a chocolate brown quilt, but everything is so brown.

I would do a cream/white to brighten.
Either plain and white/cream is dominant or with a pattern with color palette of your room but since on the brighter side.
Then pull one of the lightest colors of your quilt and use as curtain shade.
