My c-section is scheduled for Wednesday 9/7, so two weeks from tomorrow. I never went into labor with DS#1, so I have no idea what is normal. The first contraction I felt with him was about 6 hours AFTER they started pitocin. So, I have been having contractions for a couple weeks, and every day they are stronger than the day before but still not in a pattern. BUT IT HURTS!! Last Thursday I was 1 cm dilated. Can this really drag out another two weeks having painful contractions EVERY DAY? Or, will labor usually start before my scheduled date based on the contractions and intensity getting stronger???????? Sorry for the longwinded question, I'm just D-O-N-E!!!!!!!!
