What's another 12 hours?

I think I'm going to go crazy! OB just called and told me my c/s is being pushed from 7:30 AM on Friday to 8 PM!!! I seriously might lose it!

I really don't understand. They said that they have two "emergencies" that are already known. WT F? I'm the one carrying a 10 pound breech baby around! With #2 they rushed me in early since he was 10-8.

Why am I so emotional that 12 hours is getting to me? DH says it's good, b/c I can sleep the c/s off over night, but I just feel like the hospital is going to be crowded and I won't get a private room or worse, they'll put me in the tiny double where I cried to the LC RN until she moved me (my roommate didn't speak English, turned off the a/c in a heat wave, and kept pushing her table into my arm when I was trying to BF - there literally wasn't any room to move)

And just the fact of trying to get through one more day! Please send early labor vibes, so I can avoid this! Every night when I go to bed, I feel like labor is starting, but by morning - nothing.

Those 12 hours will fly by when the time comes. It's during the day so you'll find stuff to do.

I'm sorry you're feeling so uncomfortable and so upset about it. The way I see it, though, you're so lucky to have an end date to count down to!
