Need Reassurance . UPDATE
I am 5w1d.. went in today for a sono and they couldn't see anything..
I had bloodwork done last tue and my progesterone was reallllllly low so they increased my dosage went back thur and my numbers went up..
Today they tell me that it might not be a healthy pregnancy since my levels were so low to begin with and i have been spotting (very little) but they also said it still can be too early to see anything and did some bloodwork and tell me to come back on thur
Do i still have a chance at a healthy pregnancy? i'm so sad i don't even think im gonna get off the couch today
Thanks for listening.
UPDATE: i missed the call from my RE (b/c of the damn earthquake) but they left a message saying my levels went up 'well' and to come back thur for another sono to see if everything is ok.
I hope this is a good sign.. can you continue to pray for me?? I really appreciate it!

Re: Need Reassurance
I don't have any advice but I hope it's just too early to see anything on the sono. Maybe you ovulated late? Hoping everything is fine

Re: Need Reassurance
I know how you are feeling. I have been there 3 times. My numbers were never good in the beginning. The first 2 times ended in mc. However, use this as a ray of hope. The third time has been a twin pregnancy.
Good luck! Stay strong and don't give up.

Re: Need Reassurance
I don't know much, but the numbers went up, so that's good. And 5 weeks is still very early to see anything on a sono. Keep your chin up.

Re: Need Reassurance
I truly hope everything turns out ok for you. I am no expert but I think that at 5w1d it is still really really early to see anything. I know at 7 weeks was when we saw something. Don't lose hope.

Re: Need Reassurance
With my 1st dc I had some light spotting for 3 straight days so they brought me in for a sono. At the sono I was only measuring 5 1/2 weeks, even though I knew for a fact that I should be 7w. At that point I was told that I was a "threatened mc" and had a 50/50 chance of the baby being ok...well, my dc just turned 2 & is tearing up my house as I type Just think - if I had gone in for a sono at 5 weeks, they probably wouldn't have seen anything! I know that it's VERY hard, but please try to keep the faith & remain positive.

Re: Need Reassurance . UPDATE
I think you were just too early.
there would only be a sac if there was something to even see at that point.
at around 6 weeks you would have a heartbeat. i think you are about a week too early... and that just added unnecessary stress on you. i feel like your dr's should know you are VERY early and thus there's a good chance you wouldn't see anything.
good luck!
eta: glad the numbers went up. and spotting can definitely be normal.. esp if there's no cramping as well. I spotted and full on bled at times in the beginning of pregnancy (first tri)... and my baby girl is 8 weeks old now. so some spotting/bleeding doesn't always mean it's the end.
