Need thin pork chop recipe
Hi all; I rarely (if ever) make pork chops & figured I'd try as DH seems to like them. Does anyone have a good recipe?
More impt. than seasoning, etc. is that they are juicy & not dried out.
Thx. so much!

Re: Need thin pork chop recipe
Milanese style is my favorite 'thin' style recipe.
I squeeze a little lemon and sprinkle some salt on the cutlets and then pound them out if they aren't already thin enough. Dredge them in a little flour and then dip in an egg wash. Coat in a mixture of panko bread crumbs, a bit of dried oregano, freshly grated parmesan cheese and a little lemon zest. Fry them quickly on both sides. Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the top and garnish with lemon wedges. Serve with some oven roasted garlic rosemary potato wedges or a quick risotto and steamed green beans.
The trick with pork is NOT to overcook it - that's what turns it chewy. Thin cutlets should take maybe 4 minutes total when frying in olive oil.
Another thing we do is a simple bbq. Same prep - squeeze a little lemon and sprinkle with salt.. then throw them in a bowl with a bottle of your favorite bbq sauce. Coat them and then toss on the grill for a few minutes to get them charred and cooked through. Serve with corn on the cob and a quick salad.
