Greenport, NY?

Going there this week, any recommendations on vineyards, places to eat, activities? This is my first time going there.

There are tons of places to go, but Claudio's is probably the most popular (not necessarily the best, though...)

I would definitely go to the merry go round while there. That's always fun.

On the drive out there, we stopped for breakfast at a cute little place in Mattiuck called Love Lane Kitchen (or something close to that) on Love Lane (just doors from the post office) They had great breakfast food.

After that, we hit the beach in Orient (State Park) and stayed there until lunch time when we drove back to Greenport.

I can't share anything about wineries, but how bad could any of them really be?

Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck on Love Lane for breakfast is super yum and super cute

and then for Lunch I love Bruce's Cheese Emporium in Greenport town--they have great sandwiches.

dinner-claudios is good but there are much better places.
we love the Frisky oyster but it's pricey
noah's is super yum and so is farmhouse

Things to do:
wineries
drink on the deck at claudios
walk on the docks
carousel
shopping!
beach
ferry to shelter island

restaurants on shelter island that are really good are:
sweet tomatoes
sunset beach-amazing--pricey but soooo good!!

We had a fabulous meal at Farmhouse restaurant. Highly recommend it!

Great fried chicken and the BEST lemonade at Salamander's.
