appliances
My in laws are redoing their kitchen - they need all appliances- fridge- stove-microwave-dishwasher - washer-dryer-stackable - its overwhelming.
Please recommend all, everything or anything!

DH and I went to Best Buy, PC Richards.
We checked out scratch and dent in PC Richards for a dishwasher. We got a GE Profile dishwasher for 135 bucks. It had a TINY scratch on the front that you could BARELY see.
The fridge and stove were Whirlpool which we got in Best Buy. Both were open items out on the floor. Prices were already reduced and we negotiated the pricing even lower! We got an 1100 fridge for 600 bucks and a 1200 stove for 700 bucks.
All appliances are stainless and beautiful!

I have GE Profile and I HATE them!!! The dishwasher doesn't clean or dry the dishes properly (it doesn't have a separate heating element and I didn't know that when I bought it). The refrigerator/freezer (side by side) doesn't hold much. They look great but never again will I buy GE. I think Whirlpool is a better brand, especially for dishwashers.

we just put in all GE profile and I love them ... i guess it really depends on the person!

I hate hate hate my GE profile dishwasher as well....the fridge, stove and microwave are fine, but I HATE the dishwasher!

We got all GE appliances as well. I am very happy with everything except for the dishwasher. It stinks.
We went with clean steel over traditional stainless. It looks exactly like stainless, but does not leave fingerprints!!!  Couldn't be happier with it.
