Ok so is there really anyone out there who would buy......

a Gucci dog bag for $1,000?!

I mean I'm not knocking it .. I really AM just wondering how it's possible to justify spending 1k on a bag to carry your dog!! Of course .. .I don't have a dog... I own 3 cats.. so maybe there's just this dog bag culture I know nothing about.


.. and in case anyone's wondering... I was browsing the site because my birthday is in a couple of months

i wish i had that kind of money to drop on a dog carrier, but don't think i could ever justify that type of purchase. i mean, the dog doesn't know what he's sitting in!

When it comes to really expensive stuff that is just not necessary I always think of that line from the song from the 80's "Glamorous Life" - "If you have to ask you can't afford it."

Who would spend that much on a dog carrier? People who don't even need to look at the price tag - they buy it because they want it. And it doesn't make a dent in their bank account. OR there are those people who technically can't afford it, but buy it any way to prove a point/status symbol, but barely have any money in savings.

I'm a cat owner too and too often I see all this cute dog stuff and wish they had something nice and luxurious for my kitties.
