Norwegian Gem
I thank you all for answering my posts about the various cruise lines. DH and I ended up booking the Norwegian Gem out of NY going to Port Canaveral in FL and the Bahamas, April 8-15th.
What can you ladies tell me about the Bahamas? Port Canaveral? weather? places to eat? activities to do?
or
anyone ever cruise on the Norwegian Gem?

There seem like soo many good dining options. Do you recommend any?
When we leave, I believe we spend 2 days at sea. What activities are there on the ship to occupy the time?

we were just on the Gem in June. very nice ship! the steak house was pretty good. our favorite restaurant was the mexican place. great margaritas!
we enjoyed the improv shows, VERY VERY funny!
make sure you get up to the pool area early on your days at sea, the lounge chairs close to the pool fill up quickly!

no need to book ahead! just show up early so you get a seat!
i think the one we went to was the adults only show. VERRRRY funny!
