These were my favorite tips:
Shower-curtain hooks provide sturdy storage for heavier items, like purses.
Liberally apply cooking spray to both sides of a plastic or metal shovel before clearing away snow, and ice will slide right off instead of building up.

And OMG - genius! Just read the uses for everyday items and came across this tip:
26. Avoid rust stains in the bathroom. Coat the bottom of a shaving-cream can with clear nail polish to fend off rings on the ledge of the tub.

I kept checking out the site for useful organizing idea and they had suggested using a metal restaurant strip that they put the orders up on to use as a message board.

Thanks for this awesome link!!! You reminded me I had pics in my camera that kinda pertain to this topic. At my Mom's nursing home, there are little shoes that have been made into planters. The heat hasn't helped some of the plants but what a cute idea!!!!! Mary
