Gardens, rain and yes mice
Just a FYI if you don't care for your veggies gardens by not properly removing/harvesting you will get mice and especially in this rain.
My father has a huge veggie garden and he hasn't weeded since June and it had gotten out of hand. I didn't realize how bad until I went out to get some tomatoes to combine with what I am growing to jar sauce this weekend. I spent three hours removing 6 bags of weeds (accidentally ripped out his dahlia's which I had no clue they were in there.) He had rotted tomatoes everywhere and peppers smushed into the ground. I warned him that he is going to attract mice/raccoons even water rats. Needless to say he went into his greenhouse and a little mouse was in it.
I have mice in my backyard but I have a small colony of cats that take care of that LoL
