Clothing for baby....advice please!
Had my shower yesterday and got a few outfits not many...lots of PJ's. We tried to go out today to get some clothes...but have no idea how many to buy of each size, type of clothing, etc. I know it depends on teh size of the baby...but I don't to end up with nothing at home, you know?
How many outfits did you get: onesies, pants, tops, hats, shoes....
I am due in November so I know I will need warm clothes.
Thanks so much...we are so lost! LOL!

Re: Clothing for baby....advice please!
For the first few weeks/month my kids were in those footed sleepers and underneath them I would put the side snap t-shirt so the umbilical cord had room and it kept them warmer. They also never liked to keep socks on as babies so I found pants with feet were the best bet. I liked carter's brand for newborns as they washed well and stay true to size. Since sizing can vary so much, I would get 0-3. If you need premie/newborn then you can get those, but neither of my kids wore newborn for more than a few days. I would get a knit hat for coming home from the hospital, and some cotton ones because your baby will be born in the winter.
