Question for Westchester people

Hi all,

I am a nyc teacher that lives in southern westchester and I'm trying to find a fertility clinic that will actually take my insurance...GHI. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I personally do not care for Columbia but they have a satellite office in Westchester with a Dr. Thorton that people have said very good things about. SIRM-NY also has a satellite office in Westchester. Both take GHI. GL!!

Columbia has an office in Westchester. I saw them in the city and loved them. My sister and I both went to the city location. She got PG on her first IVF cycle and I got PG right before I was supposed to start my first cycle but they continued to see me in the beginning.

Everything is so smooth there. I was never late for work and their hours are great.

sirm has an office in westchester. I saw dr nicole brown in the nyc office before she moved to that office permanently. I'm not sure if she is still there, that was over 9 months ago.

Love love love Dr. Klein! With his help I have two beautiful children. His White Plains office is fantastic - nice and calm since he is the only dr. there. He is part of the RMA of NY group which has their main office on 60th & Madison - which can get a bit hairy as they are so many drs. That is where they do all of the procedures and if you need monitoring on the weekend that's where you would go. FM for more info...

Thanks so much for the responses...unfortunately RMA does not take my insurance..GHI apparently stinks..nothing seems to take my insurance thats close to me except for dr. thorton-columbia- I think I need to look into changing my insurance which of course will mean spending money!

When I went to SIRM, they took GHI. Are they close to you?

Unfortunately they are too far...like an hour from me..plus I teach in queens so that won't work at all. But thanks.

I checked NEFertility and they actually take my insurance which is so crazy since I'm hardly ever covered in CT. to begin with. I don't know how this will work with working in queens since I will have to go north 20 min. first to get there and then back south but we will see. Thanks for the info!

Did you check the Cornell satellite office? I have GHI and a few of the Drs in their Manhattan office took my insurance.

Yes I did look it up...it's too far..about a half hour from home which isn't a big deal but it takes me way too far from work..will never work with my schedule.
