retrieval was today
they got 2 eggs. oh well.
will find out tomorrow if there is any hope.
any dust/prayers would be appreciated.
two qs though...
is is normal to be a bit nauseated tonight even though it was done veryyy early this morning?
second.. kinda unrelated. i must have been bitten by a mosquito or spider cause my left hand is sooooooo swollen hot and itchy!! normally i would take a benadryl but i dont think i can bc i might get to transfer? what would you rec? been doing neosporin and ice packs....gah! lol ty v much

Don't lose hope - 2 is better than none!
 
I think the nausea is probably normal - If you start vomitting or have a fever then I would call the doc.
I wouldn't take any Benadryl just in case. Keep up with what you're doing.

I am sorry about your handi if it is itchy I heard toothpaste works. I agre with the above poster,.....don't count yourself out. I have hope all of us with our retrievals this month will be able to start a moms group!

Like I said .. I think 2 eggs from 3 follies is still good news!!
As for the bug bite.. you might think this is CRAZY but if you are open to trying anything  I can tell you this worked for me numerous times. I read about it when I googled home remedies for the itchiest bite!!!
They say to take a hot compress .. literally as hot as you can get it without burning yourself (BE CAREFUL, DON'T MAKE IT TOO HOT) .. use a face cloth or something.. and press it down on the bite. That really helped take the itch away by the next morning for me. Of all the times I tried this... it helped all but once. Sometimes I may have even put the bite directly in the hot water.. but again.. do NOT make it too hot .. and most of all .. do not make it too hot, get burned by mistake, and then blame me!!

Good Luck!!!
Oh, and I was extremely nauseaus after my ER and threw up a million times that entire day. It was a reaction to either the anesthesia or the pain meds they gave me afterwards and it was awful! I hope you feel better soon.

Yea ok, point taken. I guess the teacher in me is used to reiterating the same things a thousand times over!!!

You know my DH and I are praying for you! I was really glad to be able to go thru part of my recovery with you. If only you had stayed the extra couple of hours...  
Just kidding. I talked to Dr. B later in the day and he went on and on about how great this embryologist is. I am SO hopeful for your embryos!!! And though I HATE hearing this I'm going to say it anyway... it only takes 1.
I can barely move and am still not feeling at all like myself either, so I'd have to guess this is normal. I just woke up to take PIO and am going back to bed.
