Air travel with syringes?

What do we know? I'm looking on JetBlue's website but nothing. Not sure if my brain is functioning right though. Just wondering what your personal experiences have been. It will just be Lovenox, so at least it doesn't have to be refrigerated.
TIA

i mailed all of the meds to myself when i went to florida so that i wouldn't have to deal with the carry-ons since we werent checking any luggage. if you check it there shouldnt be a problem, but with carry-on you'll probably need an R/X or something like that.

I found some info on the TSA website about diabetic syringes but nothing more. I'm going to call Jetblue and also ask the doc to see if I need an r/x.

Mailing it is not an option since they still use pony express where I'm going!

I brought lovenox with my script and a note from dr b. I carried it on. I put it in a clear baggy with my note and script through security and no one said a word.

i went to FL over 4th of july and brought lovenox in my carry on. i made sure i had the label to the box with me showing my script and i also carried a note from my doctor. in the end, nobody even looked. they went through the scanner and nobody questioned me at all!

ETA: i was flying jetblue as well.

awesome!! i called jet blue and they told me that I should bring it clearly marked. When I asked if I should bring a doctor's note, she was unclear- so I will get one anyway.
Thanks ladies!
