I've payed a lot of money for really nice suits at Macy's. Then I noticed that NY&Co. had some nice suits and a lot more inexpensive. I'd go there. Also, if there is a TJ MAX near you, they have brand name suits for less.

I agree it depends for what. I was involved in hiring on several different kinds of positions and I can tell you sometimes stuffy is good sometimes its bad.
