Playing on hardwood floors Q.

Hi.

I have hardwood floors throughout my house. My DD has a small playmat that is pretty thick and comfy - came from overseas and not your reg play mat that is thin etc.

I am getting her a rug for her bedroom but wanted to know if anyone has a more portable suggestion that I can take with me to diff rooms in the house for her to play on - it would need to be pretty thick and comfy.

Thanks a lot.

My SIL has hardwood floors and just uses her old comforter folded once (from a KING sized bed) on the floor for her DD.

Eventually when they are crawling they won't stay on anything anyway ... so you just have them get used to the hardwood floors!

We have hard wood floors too, in the living room we have a small area rug under the coffee table.

before DS was crawling I'd throw down a blanket, but once he was mobile he just played on the floor or in the PNP or exersaucer.

We used a comforter (an old one) for a long time. Then we got a nice cushy area rug for the living room and we did put carpeting with REALLY thick padding down in her playroom.

I have an inflatable playnest that I can bring with me. The nice thing is that he can sit up and if he falls over, he falls onto the inflatible ring.
