3 wasn't my lucky number (update on me)
IUI #3 was a BFN  i knew it would be b/c of my POAS addiction but somehow after hearing it from dr. b on friday night i had a serious meltdown. i just don't get it. between 2009-2010 i got pregnant 3 times (even though they resulted in losses) and now i'm doing IUI's and nothing!?!? 
anyway, we're taking a break this month. i needed a breather from all the injections. i have no idea what we'll do from here we go in to "talk about options" with dr. b in a couple of weeks. that probably means talk about IVF which scares me to death. ughh.

The only thing that gets me going about IVF is that 1. although its way more involved, you're already doing injectibles, so you are pretty familiear with the it and 2. Your chances are really good to get pregnant with IVF! (ok 2 things!)
Whatever it takes, right?

I am sorry. 
I skipped IUI and went straight to IVF. I know it is scary, but you will get pregnant some way some how. IVF might be the answer, it's scary but much easier than I thought.

Sometimes a break is a really good thing. These medicated cycles take A LOT out of you .. physically... emotionally.. you know how it is.
I'm really sorry this wasn't your lucky cycle though  I know there's not much I can say that will help....
but just know, IF it does ultimately take IVF to get and stay pregnant, it's NOT as scary as it seems!!! Once you get there, it's all worth it.

Both of these are true!! It's a lot more injections, but once you're doing it, it's really not a huuuuuge transition

I'm sorry!
I've been pregnant three times on my own as well (2 m/c and my DD who is 3yrs). I couldn't believe that when I started TTC for #2 I wouldn't be able to conceive. I then tried Clomid 2xs and IUI once - neither worked. I am in my 2ww of my first IVF cycle now.

so sorry :( I agree, it seems totaly crazy that we can get pg on our own and with assistance we can't.. its kinda like... should I even bother?

i am so sorry. I know how you feel. I got pregnant twice on my own and now nothing. i understanding needing a break...and a break doesnt mean that you can't go at it the old fashioned way...you never know!
