What would you do.....need hair advice
Im in NC, have been for almost 4 years and STILL can't find a stylist I love as much as my old one in NY(if I didn't have 2 LOs I would fly up every time I need an appointment).
I like my current one, love the cut..color, not so much, but I think it's more the highlights I hate! I really do not like that she uses a flat iron to straighten my hair, not a blow-out. I have a lot of hair & body, so the technique of drying with your hands & dryer and then flat iron out the frizz, makes it flat. I also don't like that I am charged the same amount even if she doesn't blow it(I leave wet cause it's been so hot & I go to the gym the next day anyway)
Would you verbalize what you don't like and stay, or find another dresser?
I should post a pic of me, cause I need color advice too! I have dark hair & need to color my grays, but I hate the flat 1 tone dye, so tried highlights, but didn't like their color, too red/orange. I really like the rich dark look rachel ray has, but don't know what to ask for.
Sorry so long...Any help?!

Re: What would you do.....need hair advice
I am going through the same thing here in VA! I havent been able to find a person I like in 5 years. I would go check out someone new. I used to be so nervous checking out new people but now not so much. Every time I go to this girl I swear I'm never going back but I do. She is affordable & I'm not working at the moment so that is a big factor for me.

i am a stylist and you must tell them how you feel!
as far as how she blows your hair...thats gotta stop!! lol
we dont give discounts when people leave with wet hair bc that is THEIR choice and we have booked the time and we actually need to dry it to do a recheck kwim?

Jennifer, I never thought of it that way, regarding the time block. I always thought I was making their life easier LOL!
