could this dress work for ...
a wedding at a Chinese restaurant in Flushing? Its on a Sunday night if that counts.
How would you dress it up?

I think it can. You can dress it up w/dressy shoes, nice jewerly and an evening bag.

I agree! Definitely can wear it. I would wear a pretty gold bracelet and strappy black heels..

Is it black? Depending on how "traditional" the family is, black is a no-no at a Chinese wedding.

That dress would be just great for the wedding. I am not sure how particular Chinese are about colors but I know that they consider red as a color of prosperity.

I'm starting to think so too, I got a blue dress instead, got me so nervous about the Chinese regarding colors and what not. I wore blue to another Chinese wedding and got compliments ... so blue instead of this!
