I have friends who are building a new construction home in East Hills and they had a horrible experience....they bought the house last year and the foundation was finally poured in April...construction is still going on...make sure you look into your town's rules before you make the decision. In East Hills, you have to pay the village 1% of all the construction costs, plus permits and everything..it turns out to be very expensive!!!
