8 years ...
tomorrow is 8 years since i lost my dad. crazy, where has the time gone? its seems like a lifetime ago yet yesterday all at the same time. time stands still when I stop to think about it all, like slow motion back to that day 
so many amazing things have happened for my family since 8/6/03 and it kills me to think that he has missed it all mainly the birth of his first granddaughter and grandson and another 2 grandchildren on the way.
 i hate that I was 19 when he passed away and I never got to really know him there must be a reason for it, a bigger plan and I hope to understand it all one day!

My dad passed away a month ago, and I can't imagine what it will be like 8 years from now and everything that he will be missing.
It sucks.

I'm sorry, hon. I was 21 When my Dad died at age 43.... too soon!!! And I also think about all he's missed, weddings, and Grandchildren, and wonder what he would have thought!!!! Mary
