To take provera or not
That is my current dilemma. So my ob did blood work on Monday and called me tonight and told me to start provera tomorrow. However I have my consult with the re on 8/16, so I'm thinking maybe I should wait to see what my dr says. Do you think I should start now or should I wait the 10 days until I go to the re?

Why did they ob say you shoud take provera? did they find anything with the blood work?
why are you going to see an RE?

when is the last time u had ur period?
if u decide to start i would still go if it is only a consult but the re will prob want to see u again on cd 3

why are you going to see an RE?
The last period I had was 3/31 than I got pg and MC on 6/9. I haven't gotten a period yet. They want me to go on provera so I'll induce a bleed. I'm seeing an RE because I have pcos,

i would just call the RE and say u r on provera ..if u have not even started the pills by the time u have the consult on the 16th af prob wont even be here yet..sometimes it can take up to 2 weeks after u finsih the last pill for af to come
either way i would keep the consult and just be ready to go back cd3or 4 or 5

it may be good to take the provera because by the time you go to the RE, you will be getting AF and then they can do CD3 blood work.

call the RE and ask. i was in a similar situation with provera before my initial consult and they told me to wait.
