2nd time around mommies

Ok, I'm only about 5 weeks pregnant and already my pants are too tight...now I know I put on a some weight before, but not in the gut...
Thank goodness its summer time, ie dresses!!

So my question, with my first pregnancy I went into maternity clothes at 10-12 weeks. I cannot see myself making it that long. Did you find you "filled" out more with your 2nd pregancy? How soon did you go back into matrnity clothes?

And then, I believe in the hiding till 12 weeks for work and extended family/friends. How in the world can I hold out if I am already showing?

I filled out quicker with each pregnancy.

With my first, I didn't need maternity clothes until I was about 20 weeks.


With my second, around 16 weeks.

This time-I started wearing them at 12 weeks.

I say wear what is comfortable and if you have to come out early, so be it.

so did you find it harder to "hide" then? My job ends business summer casual after labor day, so I have another month of summer dresses. Then its business professional. I have a ton of stuff from my previous pregancy, but 1. my co-workers would remember the items, and 2. it screams maternity....

sooo I'm finding it hard to imagine waiting till 12 weeks if I'm already starting to "fill out". It was easy to hide the first time around.

I wasn't able to hide as long this go around. I think once you have a baby people are more quick to jump to the conclusion that you're having another. I def. filled out more quickly with this one but it catches up and you're not twice as big at the end!
