i've never had an hsg but i believe the hsg looks at your tubes by shooting dye through them and seeing if the dye moves through freely and a hysteroscopy (which i have had) is just a camera into your uterus. i don't know for sure though!

My hysteroscopy was so NOT a big deal at all. It was over in seconds and I hardly felt a thing. Don't even think twice about it!

That is def. what an hsg is bc I've had one. They shoot the dye in and then take some x-rays. Idk about the hysteroscopy.

Yea, I actually had one in November so I know what to expect... I just remember being reallllly crampy during it

Ah ok. Well I guess everyone has different experiences. My HSG was very uncomfortable in terms of cramping, but thankfully my hysteroscopy was totally a non-event.

Yeaaa well relative to an HSG, I hear the hysteroscopy is way better!!  Personally, I'd rather be on a beach somewhere
