Juice questions
I want to start giving her juice.
What is the difference between baby juice and regular?
Do you not need to add water to the baby juice? And how much water do you add to regular juice?

Re: Juice questions
I have bought some apple juice concentrate at the organic supermarket, it has no sugar and you can dilute it to your liking....I personally would go for something like that.

Re: Juice questions
I buy organic baby juice or regular and I add water to both so I'm not sure if the baby juice is more watered down or not. Its actually more water than juice. The only reason I give the juice at all is to help with her constipation. We use pear juice and apple juice. She seems to like both.

Re: Juice questions
I don't think there is any difference between baby juice and regular. I got those small bottles of gerber juice but now I just get regular 100% white grape juice from the grocery store and give her 50/50 juice and water.

Re: Juice questions
I just use regular juice. I used to give my son water w/ a splash of juice to get him to drink the water. I still do 50/50 (unless it's a juice box! ). This is for my 3 year old. I don't give my 11 month old juice yet - just water.

Re: Juice questions
Babies are supposed to only have between 4-6 oz. of juice a day. I think it should be diluted oz for oz but I would usually give 4 oz of juice and 3 oz of water. I stopped buying the baby juice and now just use the 100% motts juice, less expensive and more for the money.

Re: Juice questions
I give Julia the Gerber baby juice (apple) she loves it. I still put a little water in it.

Re: Juice questions
My ped does not recommend giving babies juice...I didn't listen, I gave her pear juice dialuted because it helps when she is constipated.

Re: Juice questions
I would just buy the regular juice. In the beginning I would water it down 50/50 so they got less sugar. Now I dont' bother.
Just beware of apple juice & make sure that diaper is on tight.

Re: Juice questions
I have no idea, but my ped said to get the Gerber baby juice so that's what I get. He said give my son 1 oz of juice with 4 oz of water.
