ours is ikea - dh installed it himself - SUPER EASY! That was 5 years ago and i still love them! Not a single issue with them. They do have a guarantee on them. I would do it all over again and you cant beat the price!

My Aunt and Uncle bought the kitchen cabinets last year to do a quick-fix makeover on their kitchen they were putting up for sale. It was gorgeous!!! Lots of cabinets, which I would definitely put in my kitchen.
They spent $4-5000 in cabinets (very very large kitchen) and spent $5000 to have someone (not Ikea) - put them together, install and do the electricity over in the kitchen - new outlets and most of the upper cabinets were glass fronts with the lights inside, and they put in under cabinet lighting.
Well worth the $$.

I did some research about a year ago on Ikea cabinets- I heard nothing but rave reviews on the quality. I did, however, see more than one person say to purchase countertops and appliances elsewhere. This isn't my opinion, just from research. When we do finally redo our kitchen, I am going to go for Ikea cabinets and probably countertops too (small kitchen).
