Glass for Table Top
So last winter we forgot to bring inside the glass table top we had on a small bistro set. Obviously with the crazy weather we had, the glass shattered while outside. The table is fine, though.
Does anyone have suggestions as to where I can get a replacement piece for the table? I'm looking for the glass only...
Thanks!

Re: Glass for Table Top
I had the same thing happen to our table but ours broke due to wind and the umbrella. I called a bunch of glass plaes to get prices and it is VERY expensive. Our entire set was less than $500 and the glass was going to be $400ish. We just ended up buying a new table.

Re: Glass for Table Top
I know- those glass places are expensive! The set was cheap so replacing the whole set is still an option. It's a small bistro set. I didn't know if places, say like Michaels, sold the glass separately. I was hoping to use the set this weekend for a large BBQ we're having.

Re: Glass for Table Top
Ive had this happen too many times. I will never by glass again. I tried to get replacement glass and it was about the same as buying a new set. I wanted to try plexiglass and Id just put a tablecloth on it, but that never happened. Instead my DH bought wood and did that for a little while before I told him to get rid of it. Good luck!

Re: Glass for Table Top
It stinks because I really like the set. It seems like it should only cost $20-30 if I could only find what I'm looking for!
I may have my hubby make some sort of fake wooden tabletop that I can just cover with a table cloth for this weekend. We'll see.
Thanks, though!
